Leela Barrock is a strategic communications and crisis management specialist, with more than 25 years in the media and communications industries.

She has developed, transformed and successfully restored corporate reputations which are predicated upon strategic business plans and organizational culture programmes. She served as the Group Head of Communications at Sime Darby Berhad for the nine years prior to its demerger, at the tail end of which she and her team managed the entire communications needs of the Group for the simultaneous listing of Sime Darby Plantation Berhad and Sime Darby Property Berhad.

Leela has also developed comprehensive Corporate Social Responsibility policies, guidelines and frameworks that are tailor fit for varying business needs.
